Partner Pokemon: Pikachu (Male)
Ash is a 10 year old tween that started his journey in the Kanto region. Presently, he is traveling in the Unova region. Ash took Pikachu (the only Stage 1 starter) from Professor Oak because Gary took Squirtle and two other trainers took Bulbasaur and Charmander. When Ash came, all of the starters were gone, except Pikachu. Think about this if you've played either one of three Red/Blue/Green versions. If you think about it the three and Yellow mixed together become the TV series.
